This notice explains cookies and similar browser storage on Sue O’Mara Wildlife Art’s website and its retreat enquiry form. For how we use enquiry details, see our Privacy Policy.
Your choice
You can accept optional cookies, reject them, or choose categories using the cookie banner. You can change your choice using the controls below or the Manage consent tab. Rejecting advertising cookies does not prevent you from reading the retreat information or sending an enquiry.
Essential website and enquiry functions
WordPress uses cookies for secure sign-in and administrator settings. These include wordpress_test_cookie and wordpress_logged_in_* for login sessions, and wp-settings-* and wp-settings-time-* for saved administrator preferences (up to one year). Visitors who do not sign in do not need administrator cookies.
Complianz stores your consent choices in cookies beginning cmplz_, including category choices, the policy version and banner status. These let the website remember and apply your decision. You can remove them through your browser settings; the site will then ask for your choice again.
The retreat enquiry form is provided by Connect2Build using HighLevel at link.connect2build.io. It uses browser storage and security technology to deliver the form, retain the submission session and prevent automated spam. Cloudflare may perform a security check. This processing is needed to operate and protect the enquiry service. The form sends the information you enter to Sue and her support provider, as described in the Privacy Policy.
Advertising measurement
With your consent to Marketing cookies, we use the Meta Pixel on the Southern Spain retreat page to measure visits and completed enquiries and understand the performance of our Facebook and Instagram adverts. This advertising measurement is optional. The pixel is intended to load only after you give marketing consent.
The pixel reports a page visit (PageView) and a completed enquiry (Lead). Our custom tracking code does not include your name, email address or enquiry message in those events. Meta may also receive your IP address, browser and device information, the page address, event time and advertising identifiers, and may associate these with information it already holds, including a Facebook or Instagram account.
After marketing consent, the pixel may use the following first-party advertising cookies:
- _fbp: identifies a browser to help Meta measure advertising activity. Its usual lifetime is up to three months.
- _fbc: stores a Meta advertising click identifier when a suitable click identifier is present in the page address, helping connect an enquiry or visit to an advert. Its usual lifetime is up to three months.
Cookie expiry can be refreshed during later consented visits. These cookies are not required to enquire or book. Cookie lifetimes are separate from how long Meta retains the information it receives. See Meta’s Privacy Policy and Meta’s Cookies Policy for its processing, retention and privacy controls.
You can withdraw marketing consent through Manage consent or the controls below. This stops further advertising measurement by our pixel; it does not undo information already sent to Meta. You can also remove cookies already stored in your browser.
Other external content
Some pages use external fonts or profile images such as Gravatar. When external content is requested, its provider may receive your IP address and browser information. Optional content is managed through our consent controls where applicable. WordPress may also remember your comment details if you choose that option.
Managing and removing cookies
You can withdraw optional consent using the controls below. You can also inspect or delete cookies and site storage in your browser settings. Blocking all cookies may affect sign-in or enquiry security functions. Withdrawing consent does not undo processing that already took place.
